Successful First Prime Manufacturers/Suppliers Event

Seeking to increase local supply chain in order to optimize regional economic spin-offs, the Core Leadership Team of Acadia of the Lands and Forests held its first Prime Manufacturers/Suppliers Event in Dégelis on February 8th.

In total, 90 manufacturing companies, subcontractors and economic development agencies representatives from Northwestern New Brunswick, Témiscouata, Quebec and Northern Aroostook County, Maine benefited from one-on-one meetings (speed-dating) and informal meetings to present their needs or offer their services.

Pre-Scheduled Business Meetings

Targeted and pre-scheduled matchings enabled participants to meet and optimize their time. In addition, a preparatory coaching service for suppliers and subcontractors was offered to participants.
